About Maple Diner and Smokehouse:
A real diner in the heart of Wasaga Beach, the Maple Diner and Smokehouse, at 670A River Rd. West, is a place where anyone can find a good burger, a traditional breakfast, pulled pork, chicken, ribs, and brisket. Offering American and Canadian style diner foods and barbecue, this place is a favourite spot to many for a good reason.
With the simple retro interior, this place is all about the food offering a classic eating experience. You can sit inside and outside on a table or in a booth, and get your food served with the classic retro-style red and white checkered napkins along with fresh-cut fries and onion rings. The prices are also very affordable, and the portions are quite large.
This diner is not open on Mondays and Tuesdays, and works from 11 AM to 7 PM on Wednesday and Thursday, from 9 AM to 8 PM on Friday and Saturday and from 9 AM until 3 PM on Sundays. It is an accessible place, with its parking lot for cars and bikes, wheelchair accessible, catering to groups, kids, and preparing take-out food.

The Maple Diner and Smokehouse has been in business for about three years now, owned and run by Lazaro Vakanis, and in that time it has become a favourite burger and fries place in Wasaga Beach. This diner does not turn much attention to the interior décor of the place, with only sparse, simple furnishings, and instead, focuses all the energy into creating delicious dishes and offering friendly service to every customer.
The Maple Diner is located on River Road in Wasaga Beach, near the Wasaga Beach Arena, a bank, a Walmart and a variety of other grill places. Despite the large competition, The Maple Diner and Smokehouse has held the #4 place from about 50 restaurants/eateries in Wasaga Beach, according to Trip Advisor. And based on the reviews, many people come to Wasaga Beach for the waves and the Maple Diner burgers.
This is not a vegan-friendly place, as each dish they serve is some amazing concoction with meat. So, next time when you are near Wasaga Beach, make sure to visit the Maple Diner and Smokehouse and try some of the best burgers in Canada.
