Serving Japanese & Thai dishes, the Ichiki Japanese & Thai restaurant is located in building D, on 3520 Major Mackenzie Drive West in Vaughan, Ontario. This is an All-You-Can-Eat place serving lunch and dinner, as well as drinks from its full bar.
The restaurant has a big private parking lot for cars and bikes and is wheelchair accessible. There is free Wi-Fi and TV in the place, and is big enough to fit a larger group of people and is kid-friendly, so you can take your family for a meal there. The interior is nicely done, and there is a casual ambience, with an average noise level. You can make a reservation to dine in, or order a takeout meal and have it delivered via the DoorDash app.
The menu at Ichiki is predominantly Japanese and Thai, with other Asian influences. They serve lunch and dinner, opening every day at 11.30 AM, and working up until 10 PM, and on Friday and Saturday up to 10.30 PM.

Ichiki Japanese and Thai restaurant opened in 2016. The building that houses the restaurant is purposely built, meaning it is not adapted, but all aspects of the restaurant are planned. This can be noted in the interior, which is modern, clutter-free, with partitions that add some privacy.
There are a lot of dark walls, plenty of wooden panels, brick walls and exposed ductwork ceilings. The bar has a steampunk theme in style with the metal roof and exposed ductwork. There are wooden tables with seating booths and leather upholstered chairs. People get to order their food from a digital menu on a tablet, and it is delivered to their table.
The menu is a fusion of Asian dishes with appetisers like edamame, gyoza, and spring rolls, wontons, tataki, different types of tempura, calamari and squid, and sushi pizza. There are soups like miso and hot and sour; a variety of salads and a good selection of noodles like ramen, pad Thai, and Japanese Udon noodle. The menu offers rice dishes like Japanese fried rice, pineapple fried rice, unagi don, Katsu-don, and oyako don. There is a large selection of vegetarian and vegan options on the menu.
This restaurant offers lunch specials like sweet sour chicken, General Tao chicken, Salmon Teriyaki, Red Curry shrimp, and beef dishes. No Asian place would be authentic without a good selection of special rolls, sushi, and sashimi, as well as sushi and hand rolls, and Ichiki has a very wide selection of all of these.
The menu offers sushi bar combos and party trays, with plenty of selections. The food is usually brought in black porcelain dishes, white porcelain trays and is decorated to perfection. Some of the larger trays are served on bamboo or glass trays with great presentation.
