About Green Dragon Café:

Green Dragon place is a café, bar and a video game store all in one. It is located at 3550 Rutherford Road in Vaughan, Ontario. Offering a good selection of Ontario Craft beers and single-player 8th gen console games, this is the perfect place for gamers and people who like to try new craft beers.

The Green Dragon Café and Video Game Retail opened in 2018. In the past year, it has become a favourite place to many to hang out, have a beer and play games. Imagined and run by two guys that have been life-long friends and avid gamers, this cafe was opened to serve as a place where people can enjoy good beer and great games.

The interior is cosy and inviting. There is one wall with exposed brick accents; the other ones are painted in a cream colour and decorated with fairy lights. There is a granite bar, wooden tables and benches, and rattan seating chairs, leather couches and comfy armchairs for a cosy feel. There are many potted plants all around the place, with creeping vines adding a slight mysterious charm.

The walls have framed game pictures, posters, and other game paraphernalia. The games for sale are displayed in nice wooden crates and shelves with glass doors and accent lights. There are 4K HD TVs and game consoles all around the place, which is why it is so popular amongst a certain age group.

The visitors can book an hour (or more) of gaming and enjoy a beer or two, and get an order of bottomless popcorn, large snack, a small snack, cheese plate or a fruit. The prices of the drinks are very affordable, a bottle of beer is $5, and a can is $7, while a shot is $5 and a mixed drink is $6.

Every patron that will purchase a game from the Green Dragon Café will get a free beer. Also, from the reviews I read, this place is a favourite hanging place for young adults and gamers to organise birthday celebrations with good drinks, good games in a chill atmosphere.
