About King Taps:
A place in Toronto where people can enjoy good friends, good food and beer, the King Taps is located in the middle of the Financial District, on 100 King Street West in Toronto, Ontario. This place is spread on multiple levels and has over 50 beers on tap and a gourmet pub food menu.
There is a garage parking for both cars and bikes, is wheelchair accessible and there is free Wi-Fi inside. People can make reservations here, as it can get pretty crowded over the weekends. It is not exactly a place for kids, but it can fit a large group of friends. There is a happy hour and it gets very loud on occasion. This beer bar has two outdoor patios where people can enjoy a beer, and there is live music every night.
The menu consists of honest, delicious food served for lunch and dinner, and after-hours drinks, seeing as this place works every day, seven days a week from 11.30 AM to 1 AM, with no exceptions.

King Taps was opened in 2017, right in the middle of the Financial District. The beer bar is on two levels, and both levels have outdoor patios. There is an industrial look to the interior, with plenty of wood, exposed beams on the ceilings and a lot of metal. The tables are wooden, and the chairs are metal and leather. The bars are large slabs of white marble with a lot of seats around them and TVs above. There are large windows that bring in a lot of light during the day.
The kitchen is semi-opened, so people can see their meals being plated. It caters mainly to a crowd that goes out to lunch and after-work hungry people, so the menu is comprised of every type of meal one may crave in a place like this.
There is a pizza section with nine different selections and a ½ price pizza from 9 PM to closing time. The appetizers have items like calamari, Brussels sprouts, free-run chicken wings, crispy sushi, Korean chicken, nachos, edamame, poke, and of course, fries.
People can order tacos, greens (salads), and bowl dishes. The main dish section offers steak and frites, grilled salmon, rib eye, sirloin, chicken, and steak & prawns. The handheld section is where the burgers and sandwiches are. There are desserts and coffee to finish a meal.
The King Taps bar is a beer bar, with 50+ beers on tap, and these rotate on occasion. The happy hour is from 2 PM to 5 PM and all beer is $8.75 during this time, plus all day Sunday. For the people that don’t like beer, there is a large selection of wines and cocktails.
