The Jim Chai Kee Noodles restaurant has been in business for a long time. The current location has been occupied for about 10 years, and it is a simple eatery, without anything particular to be noted on the décor. The tables and chairs are simple, with no table cloths. The walls are painted a nice cream shade and feature blown up posters from the menu along with photos of what you are going to get with your order. There is a nice skylight that floods the place with a lot of natural light, and there are some Chinese-inspired decorations on the walls.

The dishes served here are made with fresh in-house made noodles and dumplings, and there are many notes on the delicious wontons that are the size of golf balls. Many customers have praised the vegetable dishes, especially the choy sum platter with oyster sauce. The food is served in nice little porcelain dishes with Chinese patterns. You can either eat your food with chopsticks or with the porcelain spoons that come with the soup dishes.

Besides the many notes on the large, beautifully prepared shrimp dumplings (wontons) and the very affordable prices, the Jim Chai Kee Noodle restaurant has been voted the best restaurant in Richmond Hill by many publications several years in a row.
