About Cities Sports Bar & Grill:

A sports bar close to Toronto Pearson International Airport, Cities Sports Bar & Grill is located on 5825 Dixie Road, Mississauga, Ontario. This is one of the most favoured places for locals to go and enjoy a cold beer with friends and watch the game.

The location in a strip plaza allows for a large parking lot nearby for both cars and bikes. The place serves alcohol, is wheelchair accessible and has an abundance of TVs. The interior is quite large and can fit a large group of people, and even hosts private parties. The menu is inspired by the Canadian and American cuisines and this place serves lunch and dinner.

The Cities Sports Bar & Grill is opening at noon and works until 2 AM from Monday to Friday; on Saturday it opens at 2 PM and closes at 2 AM, and is closed on Sunday. From the reviews on Google Reviews, Trip Advisor and Facebook, I created the following list of pros and cons.

  • Excellent burgers
  • Great beer options
  • Plenty of TVs
  • Pool table
  • Friendly staff

  • Complaints about price on some dishes
  • Notes about a particular staff

Opened in 2014, The Cities Sports Bar & Grill recently celebrated its fifth birthday. The interior is cozy, with dark red wall, a black wall, and a white wall, all creating a pleasant, upbeat, slightly quirky atmosphere. There are plenty of framed posters of famous musicians and athletes, as well as a lot of TVs that display an array of sporting events.

There are wooden tables and chairs, leather seating booths and high tables, along with seating at the long wooden bar. The interior is clean and tidy, but it can get loud during an organized watching of a sports event. There is a pool table that is illuminated with an overhead funnel chandelier.

The menu in this place is what one would expect from a sports bar and grill. There are appetizers like nachos, poutine, deep-fried pickles, fries, coconut shrimp, and much more. There are sandwiches, quesadillas, chicken dishes, ribs, and even pasta dishes. The food is served on simple white porcelain plates and the wings and fries are usually served on checkered wax paper

There are soups and salads on the menu, but the real delicious treats are their burgers, as many patrons have noted in the reviews. They make their burger patties (8 ounces) from freshly ground beef, seasoned slightly to enhance the flavor of the meat and are served with fresh-cut fries.

The interesting thing about this place is that only girls work here and patrons have noted that all the servers are beautiful. The bartenders are very friendly and they add to the relaxed atmosphere of this sports bar. People can enjoy a variety of domestic and imported bottled and draft beers, as well as an array of cocktails prepared and decorated to perfection.
