About Unionville Arms Pub & Grill:
This nice little place is located on 189 Main Street in Unionville, Markham, Ontario. Situated in the heart of the town, this pub is in the same place where one of the first buildings in Unionville ever stood. During the years, this place served as a theatre, garage, playhouse, a general store, and a restaurant.
Near the pub, there is street side parking, along with a private parking lot for bikes and cars. The place is a classic alehouse, with happy hour, free Wi-Fi, pool table, outside patio, and of course a lot of TV sets blasting a selection of current sporting events.
It serves brunch, lunch, and dinner, working seven days a week. On Monday thru Thursday, it opens at 11.30 AM, and closes at midnight, on Fridays from 11.30 AM to 2 AM, on Saturday from 11 AM to 2 AM and on Sunday for brunch at 11 AM, and closes at midnight. The menu is versatile, interesting and appealing.

Opened in 1989, the Unionville Arms Pub & Grill is a family-owned establishment and one of the more favoured places by the local community. The inside of the pub is nicely decorated, with yellowing walls, beautiful light fixtures and a lot of wooden details, like the original wood beams that date from the turn of the 20th century.
There is plenty of seating, with chairs, seating benches and booths and wooden tables, and a long wooden bar with bar chairs. The walls have a lot of historical pictures that capture the historical vibe of the pub, as well as the inevitable beer paraphernalia. There is plenty of TVs all around that feature sporting events. This place has a large outdoor patio area which is in use a lot during warm weather, with large umbrellas and hanging flower pots.
The menu is prepared by Chef Brian and offers everything one can imagine being served as pub fare, along with an all-day breakfast offer. There are soups, salads, sandwiches, pizza, wraps, burgers, appetisers, and finger foods. There is a separate page for the pub favourites like curry, several types of fish and chips, pub pie, Chili, Bangers and mash, and chicken fingers, with a separate kids menu. You can order online and have your food delivered via the DoorDash or Skip the Dishes apps if you can’t visit the Unionville Arms Pub & Grill.
The bar serves all kinds of drinks, with cocktails, wine, and a great selection of beers. On occasion, there is a local live band playing, adding to the charm and appeal of this friendly pub, and it would be smart to make a reservation as it gets pretty busy on weekends.
