About Nancy Trattoria Restaurant:
Located on 2023 Williams Pky, in Unit 1 in Brampton, Ontario, there is a little Italian eatery named Nancy Trattoria. This restaurant serves Italian sandwiches and pizzas, along with beer and wine, and within the restaurant, there is also a banquet hall that holds dancing events.
There is a large parking lot near the restaurant, and this place is wheelchair accessible. There is a TV inside, but nothing more in fancy amenities. This place is welcoming to groups and people with kids. Also, it only serves beer and wine, but not strong alcohol. It is usually not necessary to make a reservation here but to order take-out or a pizza to go, it is advisable you call about half an hour in advance, as all pizzas are prepared fresh.
The menu is simple, but nicely put together and people can enjoy breakfast, lunch, and dinner here, along with dancing on weekends. The working hours are from 10 AM to 7 PM from Monday to Friday, and 9 AM to 6 PM on Saturday and Sunday.
Nancy Trattoria has been reviewed by many patrons, and after reviewing their notes on Yelp, Trip Advisor, and Google Reviews, here I bring you the list of most noted pros and cons.
- Home-style cooking
- Good-sized portions
- Wine and beer
- Delicious menu
- Reasonable prices
- Cash-only payment
- Somewhat outdated décor
Nancy Trattoria Restaurant has been in business for a while now. This is a family-owned place, run by a husband and wife duo, and they have brought a home-cooked Italian cuisine closer to the Brampton community. The interior is simple and mainly outdated. There are simple tiled floors and ceilings, with wood-covered walls and simple drapes over the windows. The tables are covered with checkered tablecloths, and the chairs are metal with upholstered seats.
There are ceiling fans and simple light fixtures, and several paintings on the walls, but not much else in terms of décor. The menu is simple and has breakfast, lunch and dinner offers, all priced accordingly. There is an egg sandwich offer for breakfast or a muffin. The lunch menu includes a hot plate lunch which is changing depending on the day of the week. There is the veal sandwich offer, which is a staple in Italian cuisine and many of the simpler Italian eateries carry this item.
The lunch offer also has a pasta dish and depending on the day, the pasta and sauce offer changes. The dinner offer contains items like gnocchi, fettuccine, spaghetti or another daily special, depending on the day of the week. Their pizza offer is very good, with a thin crust made in house, and comes with a good choice of toppings.
Adjoined to the trattoria, there is a dance hall, and there is dancing on weekends. Another thing the patrons have noted is their coffees, especially their special espresso and cappuccino. If you are near Brampton, this is a most definitely a place worth the try.
