About Brick N Fire:

A new, fancy place in Bradford West Gwillimbury, located on 300 Holland Street West, the Brick N Fire Restaurant & Bar is a place that serves pizza, Canadian, Italian, and European-inspired cuisine, with vegetarian and vegan options.

This beautiful new place is intended to offer an intimate dining setting, while you get to enjoy a relaxed, cosy atmosphere. They serve a lunch menu that is available from Tuesday to Friday from 11.30 AM to 3 PM featuring dishes made with fresh seasonal ingredients. The head chef and owners are in close relation, working together to create a menu full of fused flavours that take inspiration from all over the globe.

The Brick N Fire has a nice motto – Food indulgence. From scratch., which reflects the menu and atmosphere – a gastropub-style restaurant. The fine food menu is accompanied by a good selection of beers and a proper wine list that only support the tasty dishes.

The place caters to the lunch and dinner crowds and has a late-night service. They open for business on 4 PM on Monday and Saturday, when they don’t serve lunch and are opened “’till whenever”. On Tuesday through Friday, they open at 11.30 AM, right in time for the lunch crowd, and are opened “’till whenever”. Sundays are usually their days off or are reserved for private functions.

The satisfied (and unsatisfied) patrons have given their opinions on the online reviews sites Trip Advisor, Google Reviews and Facebook, and I’ve pored over them and made a list of the most commonly noted pros and cons.

Pros:

  • Friendly and accommodating staff
  • Good food and wine options
  • Pleasant, romantic atmosphere
  • Stylish interior
  • Excellently presented dishes

Cons:

  • Complaints about slow service
  • Some people noted high prices on some dishes

Open for business in 2017, the Brick N Fire Restaurant & Bar has a very stylish interior. The main theme is dark wood, with many reclaimed wooden crates serving as wine shelves, black chalkboards promoting the specials, wines and beer selections and lovely metal chandeliers that add to the charm of the exposed brick walls.

The bar is quite long and has seats all along its length, turned towards a large TV that always has a game running. This place has tables for couples and large tables that can accommodate large groups. To eat here, you need a reservation, as this restaurant is becoming more and more popular, which you can easily get by calling the restaurant directly.

Channelling a worldly gastropub atmosphere, the offered dishes are fusion from many cuisines: you can order a pizza, pasta, salads, different starters, and mains with meat and seafood options. To further accommodate its patrons, the restaurant offers daily specials. Mondays are pizza and tap night, Tuesday is ½ price glass of wine, Wednesday is $5 draft beer night, Thursday is ½ off a bottle of wine and Friday is the live entertainment night. Call ahead and book your table at Brick N Fire and you are in for a delightful night.
