About Twist Martini & Wine Lounge:
Located on 170 Jozo Weider Boulevard in the Blue Mountains (near Collingwood), the Twist Martini & Wine Lounge is a nice little place serving a vast array of cocktails over French and American-inspired cuisine. This place serves late lunch, dinner, and after-hours drinks, and has late-night dance parties.
Twist Martini & Wine Lounge has its own private parking lot, has outdoor seating, waiter service, takes reservations and packs a takeout meal, but they don’t deliver food. This is an excellent place to go with your friends for dinner, cocktails/drinks, and for some fun.
The menu offered at Twist contains snacks, main dishes, salads, entrees, and desserts. There is a bigger emphasis on drinks, as this is a cocktail and wine bar, and here people can enjoy a wide variety of martinis, beers, and wines, and after their meal is done, the patrons get to enjoy late-night fun with a DJ and dancing.
Twist Martini & Wine Lounge is opened every day from 3 PM and stays open until midnight five days of the week – from Sunday to Thursday, with Friday and Saturday staying open until 2 AM. It is one of the most sophisticated places in the Blue Mountains Village, and it is perhaps the best nightlife venue.
It has been reviewed online on Trip Advisor, Google Reviews and Facebook, and I’ve used these reviews to create a list of Twist’s pros and cons.
- Extensive cocktail and wine list
- Good selection of foods
- Casual atmosphere
- Social Hour
- DJ and dancing
- Notes about the prices of some drinks
The Twist Martini & Wine Lounge has been in business since September 2007, and in that time it has been a great place for casual fine dining and late-night fun in the Blue Mountains. The place has a rustic chic interior, with exposed brick walls and accents, wooden décor and modern light fixtures.
There are comfortable chairs and tables for dining and a casual, yet pleasant atmosphere for dinner with the family or friends. Later in the night, the place transforms itself in a dance nightclub, with tasty drinks, good music and a friendly crowd looking to party.
The food menu is interesting and seasonally changing, with appetizers, sandwiches/burgers/sliders, steaks, seafood dishes, desserts and a lot more. There is a separate menu with kid-sized portions. The food is served on nice white porcelain plates, with many appetizers being served on nice wooden serving boards that add to the charm of the place.
While the place is visited for its food, the main attraction is still the cocktail offer and DJ and dancing. There are many martinis and other cocktail options, and all get served in their proper glasses with garnish. After dinner is done, the Twist Martini & Wine Lounge transforms into a dance club, with late night fun.
