About Red Lobster:
The Red Lobster franchise is a well-known restaurant chain serving lobster and other seafood delicacies. They have a location in Barrie, on 319 Bayfield Street, Barrie, Ontario. Serving seafood and other dishes inspired by Canadian cuisine, this is a place where people go to enjoy some casual fun over good food.
The Barrie location of Red Lobster has its own parking lot for cars and bikes. The restaurant takes reservations as it can get pretty crowded at times. You can get lunch and dinner here, have a drink or two from their full bar and even bring a large party of friends or family. The atmosphere is casual and relaxed, as the main emphasis is on the lobster and other seafood dishes served here.
The place is opened every day of the week, starting at 11 AM and closing at 9 PM, with the exception of Friday and Saturday when the restaurant closes at 10 PM. There are separate lunch and dinner menus, separate kids menu, as well as the lobster menu and the Catch of the Day offer.
There are many reviews online on Yelp, Trip Advisor, Google Reviews and Open Table concerning the Red Lobster in Barrie, and I’ve used these to create a list of pros and cons about this place.

The Red Lobster restaurant has first started in 1968 in Florida, USA, and has since then spread all over the USA and Canada, making the seafood available to a very large crowd. The Barrie location has been in business since 2007. This location is nicely decorated, with stone floors, wooden panelled walls and nice comfortable seating booths. The interior is inspired by the famous fishing village Bar Harbor, Maine.
The menu is predominantly seafood-based, with the LobsterFest menu offering several lobster creations. There is the Today’s Catch menu that is changing daily depending on the sourced catch. The separate lunch menu and dinner menus contain appetizers, soups, salads, entrees, special lunch features, desserts, and drinks. For the people that don’t like seafood, but have gone to this place with friends and family there are some meat dishes like filet mignon, New York Strip Steak, Maple Glazed Chicken and more.
Red Lobster serves a wide selection of cocktails, white and red wines, spirits and a nice selection of domestic and imported beers. This is a restaurant where one goes to enjoy the seafood dishes, and to have fun with family and friends and a place where a lot of family traditions have begun.
To begin your family tradition here, you can book a table via the Open Table app, pre-order a meal and get seated immediately after you arrive. Enjoy their lobster dishes, garlic shrimp, coconut shrimp, and their signature biscuits and their 4-Course Feast.
