A modern gastropub with a trendy atmosphere, the FunDooZies Fondue Bar & Eatery can be found on 66 Dunlop Street in downtown Barrie. Serving different kinds of fondue dishes alongside a Table Side Grill, the FunDooZies Fondue Bar & Eatery offers a different kind of culinary experience.
The menu covers cheese and chocolate fondues, chicken, pork and beef options, seafood options and a lot of interesting veggies and dressings. Along with the interesting foods, the FouDooZies place offers a modern atmosphere, pleasant décor and overall great time.
This place is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, working hours are from 4 PM to 10 PM on Wednesdays and Thursdays, from 4 PM to 11 PM on Fridays and Saturdays and from 12 PM to 8 PM on Sundays. It is recommended that you make a previous reservation, but that does not mean that you will not be served if you are a walk-in.

The FunDooZies Fondue Bar & Eatery has opened its doors for business on October 1st, 2017, and since then, this place has been serving fondue-based dishes and entertaining the Barrie community. The location is unique in its service (in Barrie, of course), as they offer two fondue pots at a time per table, and each table features a tabletop grill for searing the food per the clients liking.
The décor is unique, with a statue of Betty Boop in a waitress’ red dress, roller skates, and a tray carrying a fondue pot sits atop the bar, greeting the customers. This place has about 30 seats, modern black décor, exposed brick walls, retro details and splashes of vivid colours that project the owner’s idea of creating a place where people can enjoy a different eating experience.
The menu consists of fondue dishes, combined with meat, seafood, vegetables and amazing-looking desserts where the fresh fruit and other delicious sweets are combined with cheese or chocolate fondue.
Many customers like the idea of grilling the meat, vegetables, seafood or mushrooms on the exposed grill on the tabletop and dip it into the fondue pot of melted cheese. The staff know their business and aim to serve to the best of their abilities. On occasion, there are live music and even a barbershop quartet performing for the guests, and to make this experience even more friendly, the owner is always there to greet the customers and share a funny story.
