This place is a family-run operation; the husband is the cook, while the wife runs the restaurant and serves the meals. The interior is simple, with nothing particularly fancy, just simple nautical theme with maritime decorations like metal and wood catches, rescue tires and sea-inspired wallpaper There are metal chairs and tables with glass tops, several potted plants, a semi-open kitchen, and a service bar. There is a separate refrigerated bar for the ice cream.

The food served here is nicely prepared, with emphasis on the fish and chips. The fish is coated in their homemade batter, which many customers praised in their reviews, and there is the choice of halibut, haddock, cod, basa, and a lot more. The dishes are served with freshly made coleslaw and various dipping sauces.

For people that don’t like fish & chips, there are burgers, sandwiches, wraps, salads, and the Canadian favorite – poutine which come in several options. There is a good selection of appetizers, snack-sized portions, kids menu, and value portions. To sweeten things up, this diner serves over twenty flavors of ice cream, funnel cakes, deep fried mars bars and more. They only serve soft drinks and water here, as well as homemade milkshakes, but don’t expect to get a cold beer with your fish & chips.
