About The Rec Room:
Located on 255 Bremner Boulevard, in Toronto, Ontario, there is an entertainment centre mixed with a restaurant, where people can enjoy a meal, go have fun with their kids or friends and play one of the many games offered here. It is conveniently named the Rec Room, and there are six locations across Canada.
The Toronto location of the Rec Room has good parking available for cars and bikes. The place is wheelchair accessible, has free Wi-Fi and plenty of TVs. It is welcoming to children and accommodating to groups. The place has a pool table, among other things, and is great for happy hour. You should make a reservation, as it can get jam-packed, especially over the weekends.
The Rec Room serves lunch, dinner, desserts, and after-hours drinks from a nicely put together pub grub menu. It opens each day at 11 AM, with closing time being midnight from Sunday to Wednesday, from 1 AM on Thursday and up to 2 AM on Friday and Saturday.
From reviews I read online on Yelp, Trip Advisor, Google Reviewshuffleboard and Facebook, I bring you a list of pros and cons of the Rec Room Toronto.

The Rec Room Toronto location opened on June 27, 2017. This place is situated at Roundhouse Park in downtown Toronto, right across the street from the CN Tower, Rogers Centre, the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, Air Canada Centre, and the Billy Bishop Airport. It is located in an old, redesigned roundhouse. The Rec Room spans several floors, all with different décor, themes, and entertainment.
There are two restaurants: one has a Canadian-inspired cuisine and is named Three10, meaning three territories and ten provinces, serving food inspired by Canadian traditions. The other is called the Shed and serves mainly poutine and doughnuts – the perfect game-time snacks. The Yard is the floor dedicated to video and redemption games and is right next to the Shed.
The Hall is the place for live gigs, live comedy shows, and a state-of-the-art auditorium. There are events spaces for private meetings, luncheons, team-building events seminars and more that offer privacy, yet still, keep the same spirit of the Rec Room. Apart from the video games, there is a section for VR games like the Car Simulator, and physical games like ping pong, shuffleboard and pool table. The patrons that will gather enough points on the redemption games get to visit the Trophy Case and select a trophy.
From all I’ve seen during my research, the Rec Room is a great place to go with friends or family and have a good meal, play one or more games and listen to live music. For the upcoming events, you will have to check out their social media profiles and let me tell you; there is always something happening at the Rec Room.
