Hungry Brew Hops Public House & Eatery (HBH)

211 Main St S, Newmarket
About Hungry Brew Hops :

In the heart of downtown Newmarket, on 211 Main Street, there is a nice gastropub aptly named Hungry Brew Hops Public House & Eatery. This quaint little place is serving Canadian-inspired food over a pleasant, friendly pub atmosphere.

Catering to the lunch crowd, dinner crowd and late night after-hours, this place is a very popular gathering and watering hole in Newmarket. The place has street-side and parking lot parking, is good for groups gatherings and most evenings, you don’t need a reservation to enjoy some of their large selection of beers. However, for smaller groups, it is smart to call about one hour before arriving, so you’ll have a guaranteed table, and for larger crowds, it is recommended that you call before or make a reservation via their website.

The Hungry Brew Hops place offers a casual, "hipster" atmosphere with the average noise level, free WiFi, full bar and even catering services. It is opened seven days a week, starting each day at 11 AM up to closing time, which is usually around 2 AM on weekends and 12 AM on weeknights. The late-night menu starts serving at 11 PM.

The many satisfied customers of the Hungry Brew Hops have given their reviews on sites like Yelp, Trip Advisor, Facebook, and Google Reviews. I’ve read all of these to make a list of the most-often mentioned pros and cons people have about this place.

The Hungry Brew Hops has a classic pub interior, with a very long bar running almost the length of the restaurant. There are classic pub high tables, comfortable chairs and wooden tables, no tablecloths, and predominantly dark décor.

The dishes served here are a reflection of the inventiveness of the chefs and the kitchen's staff. Most of the burgers and other dishes are served on wooden platters, or large white plates so the delicious-looking food looks even more appealing. When the weather allows it, there is outside seating area where patrons can enjoy the many, many beer options offered by Hungry Beer Hops.

There are special offers related to the weekdays: Stout Sundays with $5 select stouts, Crafty Mondays with $6 for select Ontario craft beers, 1/2 Off Thursdays with half price on select wine and beer bottles. There is the HBH Mug Club – membership option with extra amenities like a personalized mug, free monthly pints, birthday specials, merch specials and more.
