About Kitcho Sushi:
The name says it all, a sushi place located on 240 First Street, in Collingwood, Ontario. Kitcho Sushi does serve not only sushi, but also a variety of other Japanese, Chinese, and Asian dishes, as well as a nice variety of vegetarian meals.
This place serves both lunch and dinner, has a bike and car parking lot and takes reservations. It is large enough to fit a larger group and is kids friendly. The dining atmosphere is casual, with little to no distractions like WIFI or a TV. There is a waiter service staff, and the restaurant can be employed to cater to any larger event.
The menu is very, very varied, with different Asian-inspired recipes, sushi dishes, Japanese, Thai and Chinese dishes and separate lunch and dinner offer. There are good beer and wine selections to go with varied food selections.
Kitcho Sushi is opened every day from 11 AM, and closes at 10 PM, only on Fridays and Saturdays it stays open until 10.30 PM. If you don’t like to dine in, you can order takeout food, and if you are in Collingwood, you get free delivery for orders over $30.
Many people that have dined here gave their opinions on this restaurant online on Yelp, Trip Advisor, Facebook, and Google Reviews. I’ve used these to create the list of pros and cons about Kitcho Sushi.
- Extensive Asian-inspired menu
- Great service staff
- Great selection of sushi
- Reasonable prices
- Good-sized portions
- Notes about general cleanliness
- Notes about poor customer service
Kitcho Sushi has been in business since 2015, and it is one of the most famous all-you-can-eat Sushi places in Collingwood. The interior is nothing extravagant, red-carpeted floors, soft yellow coloured walls, leather seating booths with wooden tables and stringy curtains separating the eating areas. The tables are wooden and have no table cloths for a more casual atmosphere.
The menu is served here is very varied, and can satisfy even the pickiest of eaters. There are fish and sushi dishes served on wooden boat-like platters, and meals served on white porcelain platters. The official website showcases the entire menu, and you can see all the separate Chinese and Japanese menus as well as their combination lunch and dinner menu. The Chinese menu has dishes like lo mein, Thai noodles, curry dishes, rice dishes, chop suey, seafood dishes, soups and more. There is a nice selection of Japanese dishes like tempura, sushi, sashimi, maki and more.
According to many patrons, this place is their favourite because all the members of the group can enjoy a different meal while they all dine together. There are also many positive notes about the size of the dishes and the reasonable price the customers had to pay. The location of downtown Collingwood makes the Kitcho Sushi a very popular place for people to spend their lunch break here or order takeout and enjoy it at the office or at home.
